Blocks from the Chain — Issue #83
happy sunday (looks up, it’s sunday right?!) what’s been happening in the steem universe in the last 24 hrs? not a clue. been completely outta the loop so i’m totally freestyling it today — maybe yet another frontend? more dilution? is the chain still a thing anymore, will we ever concern ourselves with steem/sbd when the universe is just one big collection of vanity time travelling tokens of tokenised human connection? who cares! HODL
momentum is motivation
one thing that motivates me every single day about blogging and checking out stuff on the steem blockchain is the fact that everyday is change, forward motion, something new, another way, another route, no middlemen to realisation of a new way of interacting with the chain — compared to other chains it’s relatively easy (i’m hoping) to build an MVP frontend, learn how to interface with the chain and then look for help in a developer to explore further, i’m hoping the more condenser clone frontends we see the more we will see niche groups with their own little playgrounds in their little gated communities, think a prettier IRC but where everyone is a mod ;)
i get excited about other chains as well (even thou i’ll always have roots in steem) i’ve got lots of other accounts and projects i’ve not done yet so that gives me room to play creatively, i’m thankful for the learning and to keep the grey matter upstairs whirring away on something.
ok, let’s my little update today, i’ve got some mental scheduling to be done for the week ahead, it’s quite warm here today which is unexpected so gotta try and work around that as i know we have a week of rain coming in, perfect creativity time, nothing i love better than hot chocolate and rain drops on the window to work too, all the old classic tunes from the 80’s come out! :)
